One Indian killed, five injured in armed police firing at border

Armed police have fired shots to control a group of Indians trying to enter Nepal. It is understood that the armed police opened fire on a group of Indians after they tried to enter Nepal forcibly in Parsa 3 of Sarlahi.

One Indian national was killed and five others were injured in the blast, locals said. According to the Armed Police Force (APF), the Indian group was shot dead when they tried to stop them from entering Nepal at around 9 am on Friday. According to an Armed Police source, five Indians were shot dead in the incident.

An Indian national has been shot dead. The District Police Office, Sarlahi has yet to confirm this. The name and address of the deceased have not been disclosed.

The clash took place when an Indian national was trying to enter Nepal through Narayanpur checkpoint in Parsa village municipality. Police sources allege that the Indian group tried to snatch the weapons of the armed police.
