A board meeting of the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) on last Friday granted license to DishHome for internet service. Together, DishHome is now expanding its Internet service across the country Within 3 Weeks.
According to Sudeep Acharya, managing director of DishHome, the internet will be started from this week. For this, its commercial start will be started within two or three weeks from now, based on the feedback from the limited customer providing internet.
'For that we are technically capable,' says Acharya, 'We have even signed a contract with the Israeli satellite company Space Communication for satellite internet. It is set to provide internet services to customers in urban areas through optical fiber and satellite in rural and remote areas. '
Fiber Net plans to provide satellite internet as it cannot cover all the customers, he said.
