Traffic Professional Association has declared one day Public vehicle strike tomorrow on 21 Baishakh and demanded every public vehicles to keep their transportation on home and garage. Association are against new law formulated by Nepal Government to convert individual association members vechicles name into the company name. According to Nepal government a company name only can be register if owner have 5 vehicles and they have to pay tax to Nepal Government. And an Association is against of it .If the individual association member don’t have 4 vehicles then their company name won’t be register and they don’t have to pay taxes . And Nepal Government is trying to break that system which is beneficial for individual association member by not paying taxes register but a huge headache to Government of Nepal .This topic has explode because Mayur Yatayat(Transportation) a company and trying to break the Thankot syndicate by bringing 23 Big buses with 40 seats with free WiFi from Thankot – Ratnapark-Dhulikhel/ Panauti routes system. From beginning Thankot Traffic Association are against Nepal Government. After Earthquake Nepal Government had plan to run Sajha Yatayat from Thankot to Ratnapark due to its overpopulation government tries provide service to passenger but Thankot Association did strike, did physical damages to buses and the route system was off. And this time Mayur Yatayat is going to face the same. Thankot Association is not happy with Mayur Yatayat service it’s going to provide. Personally saying one of the hardest transportation system of Kathmandu is of Thankot .Hayash, Micro Buses are over pack, they try to fit people like Gunruk (Dry spinaches) on a jar. It’s to suffocated even to breathe on summer and rainy season they forget humanity for the money and additionally pervert harsh girls and women. Each 10 out of 8 girls are harsh by stranger on Public vehicles. During festival season they increases ticket price thrice than it cost. On collage hours mini- micro does not drive the vehicles because most of morning hour student of morning shift wait for vehicles and take student card discount.
Time for my personal story one day blue mini –micro from kalanki chock did not allow me to sit on front seat .If I want to sit then I have to pay Rs 15, so I quarrel with driver took photo of mini-bus plate number and complain to Traffic police….. And then driver get warring from traffic. This kind of driver price wish are found on kalanki .Likewise Taxi are not running on meter .There are lots of traffic problem face by citizen everyday .An Association, Traffic Police and Government of Nepal must run action over In the name of association and personal benefits the association are neglecting consumer right and playing villain role for the public .This sort of Don System should be stop. If we run for our personally benefit then our country is not going to be change .We will be frog inside well forever.
