You put a profile for your identity on Facebook. The problem is that anyone can create a fake Facebook account using your name and even your actual profile picture.

To prevent this from happening, Facebook has added a new feature called ‘Profile Picture Guard’. Open your Facebook profile and click on the current profile picture (do not click on ‘update profile picture’). When the profile picture opens, click on the options below the picture and select ‘Turn on profile picture lock’. A blue shield will appear on your photo. Now no one will be able to share or download it.

1.First you need to update your Facebook app by going to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2.You should then go to your profile page.

3.Then go inside your profile name and tap More (more).

4.Then find the ‘Lock Profile’ option from the drop down menu and click on it.

5.After tapping here you will see a confirmation message on the screen.

6.Then click ‘Lock your profile’ to lock the profile.

Once this feature is turned on, your June posts were previously public, they will all be moved to Friends. Also timeline review and tag review will be open.
