How to Pay Your Traffic Fine Online

The new online payment system is powered by the Traffic Violation Record System (TVRS) software. This innovative technology integrates with the online payment platforms of designated banks, ensuring that the revenue from fines is automatically credited to the government's account.

This new system eliminates the need for drivers to physically go to a traffic police office and then to a bank to deposit the fine amount. The process is now seamless and saves valuable time. According to the department, since the TVRS software was implemented seven months ago, drivers no longer have to visit the traffic police office to settle their fines.

Benefits of Traffic Police Technology

The development of this online fine payment system is part of a broader move towards digital services by the traffic police department. The department had previously launched an online complaint system for the loss of vehicle documents and vehicles. This service has been a massive success, with an average of 400 people now getting recommendations online daily, a significant increase from the 150 people who previously had to stand in line.
