Sharma said that the Indian TV channels were making exaggerated and unbridled propaganda about Nepal and recently the objectionable topics were aired by adding the names of the Prime Minister and the Chinese Ambassador.

He said that almost all the channel distribution companies have agreed to stop broadcasting Indian news channels.
"We have stopped airing Indian news channels that attack our nationality on the advice of operators," Sharma told . "We have not been instructed or pressured by the government or any body."
