7 People arrested for playing Ludo

However, police have arrested seven people after finding that they started gambling with money.
They have been arrested on charge of playing ludo at the house of Prince Karki in Sunargaon near Kalanki, Kathmandu-14. It is said that Karki was found to be playing Ludo for Rs 5,000.
According to DSP Rugam Kunwar of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Rs. 86500 was also recovered from them. They have been found to be betting up to Rs 35,000.

According to Kunwar, a detailed investigation is underway to extend the term of all the arrested persons as per the Gambling Act.
